Ella!

This week Ella had her first proper haircut, in preparation for her birthday next week. She looks very cute with her fringe. She can now count to ten -- without missing out seven and eight, which she did for months -- though she thinks that after ten you go back to eight again. She knows she will be two in a few days, and believes that Mummy is six, Daddy is seven, and Great-Grandma is eight. Ella also believes that Daddy goes to San Francisco to work every day. Ella went to the "Natrool Histy Minum" (Natural History Museum) again this week and saw dinosaurs, dinosaur eggs and other things. She likes the sound of being an "arky-ol-ol-iss" (archaeologist) since it involves digging up dinosaurs with a bucket and spade, and then putting them in the Natrool Histy Minum. Also this week Ella has been spotting wisteria, wearing her new denim skirt and practising her jumping. She is obsessed with red foxes. And she likes saying "Somebody else do yat" whenever she does something that someone in one of her books, videos or computer games also does. We then have to guess who "somebody else" is, though Ella normally tells us anyway (and it is almost always Maisy or Crash Bandicoot).
