This week Ella's cousin Demi, who is six, visited from Antwerp. Ella and Demi drew in the front garden with chalk (which Ella got all over her face) and played music together (though Ella seems to believe that a recorder is a something you sing into). There was also a lot of Piggy-in-the-middle and Hide-and-seek. On Saturday Ella and Daddy went in a boat in the park, and on Sunday we all went to Oxford and went punting -- Ella helped with the oar, and then paddled from the punt.
