Brains, by Miles
"You need your brain, because when your brain is in yourself then you can go. If you have no brain, then you can't go. So when you have a brain you can go! (Where is your brain, Miles?) In my arm. (Are you sure?) It's really in my head!"
This month Ella and Miles enjoyed the snow in London and the sun in Cape Town. It snowed enough to allow for proper sledging in the park, snow angels and building a snowman in the garden. It was all over in a couple of days, but Ella and Miles made the most of it. Then they headed off to visit William and Sophie in South Africa, where they did the usual things: running around at Kirstenbosch, going up Table Mountain by cable car, chasing penguins at Boulders beach, rescuing tortoises on the road to Churchhaven, and then swimming in the lagoon. Once back in Cape Town there was more splashing in pool, a visit to the aquarium, and the traditional final lunch at Boschendal. Also this month Ella and Miles visited their great-grandmother Nana and tossed pancakes on pancake day. And Miles talked a lot of rubbish about superheroes and their powers, which come from batteries, apparently. But Ella's batteries are SLOW.
