Growing up, by Miles

"I don't want to grow. Because then I can't wear my Spider-Man costume. When I am bigger and I will grow, I won't be cute any more. I'm three and a half because my head's grown. I've grown, just like you. I don't like the Easter bunny. If he comes into my room I will do my sword at him." (Goes to sleep clutching sword.)

A few months ago Miles learned of the existence of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (from Little Einsteins) and of high-speed trains (from a poster at the station). When he heard that the fast trains go to Paris, he announced "I want to go to Paris on a fast train and see the Eiffel Tower." So this month we did. Going on the train was very exciting, and once in Paris we walked up to the first stage of the Eiffel Tower. Having now learned how to ride a bike, Ella was very interested in the Velib bikes, but she was too small to try them, Her request for our trip was to visit the catacombs, where we saw lots of bones. We saw more bones at the Natural History Museum, this time of animals, not people. We stayed at the very cool Mama Shelter hotel. Also this month Ella and Miles had an Easter egg hunt in the garden, we went to the woods with Dom and his family, and Ella went to Theo's party at Legoland.
